Phap Lam pagoda is situated at 500 Ong Ich Khiem street. It was built in east-Asian style. At the beginning, it was the headquarter of Annamite Buddhist Association, Danang branch. In 1970, it was renamed Phap Lam.
In the sanctum, there is a golden-plated clay statue of Thich Ca Buddha sitting on a 1.6-meter high lotus throne and a halo at his back. A big ancient Bodhi tree with its shade is painted on the wall. Two bronze statues of Quan The Am and Dai The Chi Bodhisattva were placed in two sides of Thich Ca Buddha. In front of the sanctum lies Dai Hong Chung. In the forecourt there is a skillfully-sculptured and lacquered horizontal board with a Sanskrit incantation. To Dat Ma, dead ever-famous bonzes and tablets are worshiped in the rear. Phap Lam has been an office of Quang Nam – Da Nang Buddhist Association since 1975.
